The U.S. Mission Geneva, General Services Offices / Procurement, seeks to contract with qualified reliable firms with sufficient resources, financing and work experience for delivering and performing a variety of commodities and/or services.

The U.S. Mission Geneva has a requirement to order an A&E study. The purpose of this study is to develop a conceptual design and working drawings for expanding the vehicle traffic areas of the Chief of Mission’s residence (CMR). Currently the CMR does not have a wide enough driveway, which impedes the ability to host representation events in an efficient manner. Furthermore, to mitigate traffic backups along the road, an exit gate should be established on the North West corner of the property.

Below is a brief description of the scope of work :

Phase 1:
Conceptual design of the site

Phase 2:
Working drawings including but not limited to:

  1. Structural drawings
  2. Architectural drawings
  3. Site plan
  4. Lighting and electrical diagram
  5. Manufacturer information for all fixtures, gates, sensors, etc.

Phase 3:
Project timeline and Construction

  • The A&E firm will handle all permits and negotiations with the State
  • The A&E firm will hire and direct all prime and sub-contractors doing the work

The Permanent Mission of the United States of America in Geneva, Switzerland, seeks qualified companies to provide mobile telephone services .

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The U.S. Mission in Geneva will launch the solicitation on the Contract Opportunities website when it is available.

The anticipated performance period is for a base year with one one-year option period, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.

The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is responsible contractor. The government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.

All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System of Award Management) database prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals – www.sam.gov

PHOTOCOPIERS RENTAL AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES

The U.S. Mission Geneva intend to release a solicitation for the leasing and servicing of photocopiers for the administrative offices located in the building of the U.S. Mission in Chambesy, The complete solicitation with scope of work and contact details will be available on the Mission website on or about June 15, 2020.

The U.S. Mission Geneva has a requirement for a carpet installation services in a villa in Bellevue (Geneva, Switzerland)

Below is a brief description of the scope of work:

  • About 150 square meter area including  hallway, stairs, first and second floor
  • Removal  and disposal of existing carpet
  • Supply materials and installation of new carpet

Vouchering Examiner/Administrative Assistant

Major duties: 
Vouchering duties
The incumbent reviews and prepares voucher packages and processes simple and complex payments. The incumbent receives and logs invoices, gathers other supporting documentations such as purchase orders and receiving reports to prepare a complete voucher package.

The incumbent will also submit complete voucher packages to a different office for processing.

Administrative duties
As Administrative Assistant, processes incoming/outgoing mail by date stamping each piece of mail. Maintains files of processed vouchers, reports and also manages the report disposition according to regulations.  Order office supplies.

Other duties
Performs other duties as assigned by the Financial Specialist or American Financial Management Officer.

Qualifications:
Education: 2 years of college
Experience: One year of experience in voucher examination and administrative operations
Languages: Fluent in English & French
Skills & Abilities: Must be able to comprehend and apply complicates regulations and procedure, show attention to details, critically analyze data and draw well-thought conclusions, and clearly articulate both oral and writing. Proficiency in Excel and Word Application are required.

All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.

The U.S. Mission Geneva has a requirement for pool house kitchen cabinets and accessories in one of our official residence in Mies, Switzerland.

Below is a brief description of the scope of work:
Installation of:

  • New kitchen cabinets
  • Countertop
  • Fridge
  • Freezer
  • Ice cube maker
  • Faucet and sink

The contractor shall provide material, labor and tools to fabricate the kitchen cabinets and do the installation on site.

The cabinet shall be build according to the design drawing, specifications and accordance with good building practice and federal laws and code.

The US Mission requires inspecting the material and workmanship during the process.

The work has to be completed before the end of June 2020.
