The U.S. Embassy in Bern is responsible for the bilateral relationship with Switzerland and Liechtenstein and provides consular services including Visas and U.S. Citizen Services.

Geneva is an important multilateral platform for disarmament and arms control. The mission of the U.S. Delegation to the Conference on Disarmament is to advance U.S. national security through energetic multilateral diplomacy.
Represents the United States at World Trade Organization and includes officials from the U.S. Trade Representative’s Office, the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Commerce.
The U.S. Mission to the WTO in Geneva includes representatives of USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS).
The Humanitarian Affairs Section is a joint Department of State and USAID team supporting the management of U.S. government humanitarian assistance to Geneva-based organizations including UNHCR, IOM, ICRC, and OCHA.
The Office of Human Rights Affairs works to advance the protection and promotion of human rights and fundamental freedoms, which are core to U.S. values.
