Solar Panels – Replacement of SMA Inverters

General Description

The US Mission building is equipped with 37 solar panels biphase inverters (type SMA SWR 2500U) producing about 90,000 Kwh/year.

The US Mission’s intent is to replace the existing inverters, which have become obsolete, with standard SMA solar panels inverters. The  primary function is to convert solar current into AC current suitable for the grid.

The US Mission is looking for a contractor with the expertise and the capability to provide the new inverters, undertake the complete installation and provide a long-term maintenance service contract.

A Site visit will be held on June 1st 2016 at  09:00 am at the US Mission Geneva,

Other important information:

SAM registration is recommended for all contractors interested in doing business with the U.S. government. For foreign vendors, registration is REQUIRED for any entity wishing to participate in tendering exercises for contract awards estimated at $25,000 and above.

There is no charge to register. Application can be requested online from SAM official website www.sam.gov
