Together with the Centre on Conflict, Development and Peacebuilding (CCDP) at the Graduate Institute of International Development Studies the U.S. Mission to the UN in Geneva sponsored a public lecture and discussion November 8, 2012 on “A Somali Spring? Hybrid Government Prospects for Post – Transition Statebuilding in Somalia” with Professor Ken Menkhaus, professor of political science at Davidson College, specialist on Somalia and the Horn of Africa, and senior fellow at the Enough Project, of the Center for American Progress to end genocide and crimes against humanity.
