Palais des Nations and Ariana Park

There is little doubt that the presence in Geneva of the United Nations and its specialized agencies has made this city one of the world’s most important centers of international cooperation. In an effort to raise awareness of the important work of the international organizations and diplomatic missions in Geneva, the UN will open its grounds and part of the Palais des Nations to the public on Saturday 15 September 2012.

A wide variety of activities will be on offer, for all interests and ages, including exhibitions, concerts, performances, stands and debates.

The United States Mission Green Team Members will be present with a stand in Hall 14 to share the details of our Mission’s green initiatives, as well as highlight some of the lesser known ties between the United States and the city of Geneva. Besides offering a wide variety of free publications and fact sheets, the stand will be powered with interactive multimedia elements, as well as offer some fun give-away items for the younger visitors.

We look forward to seeing you all.
