The US Mission hosted singer Jo Ann Pickens and her pianist Jan Stumke for an evening of jazz and gospel music in late February in honor of Black History Month. The video of this event features remarks by Ambassador King and music from Duke Ellington’s “It Don’t Mean a Thing” to George Gershwin’s “It Ain’t Necessarily So” and Andrea Crouch’s “Let the Church Say Amen” along with other spirituals and jazz standards
