Schafer, Assistant Administrator at the U.S. Agency for International Development (L-R) announce the launch of a new satellite-based storm warning system that will help protect vulnerable populations in Central America and the Caribbean.   The system is a joint venture between NASA, NOAA, USAID and GEO, and will soon be expanded to cover East Africa.
