LIST OF OFFICIAL HOLIDAYS - 2008
During calendar year 2008, the U.S. Mission in Geneva will be closed on the dates indicated below, in observance of the following American, Swiss and United Nations holidays which occur on a workday:

If an American holiday falls on a Saturday, the Mission will be closed on the preceding Friday. If the American holiday falls on a Sunday, the Mission will be closed the following Monday. A Swiss holiday falling on Saturday or Sunday will not affect the weekday work schedule of the Mission.
Please note that firm dates for the Muslim holidays, which are subject to lunar observations, will be confirmed in a separate notice.
