Syrian activists, journalists and bloggers will provide first person accounts of the situation in Syria at this special forum on the Opening Day of the 21st Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
Human Rights and Accountability in Syria
A year and a half after the beginning of the uprising, the human rights situation in Syria continues to deteriorate, triggering a spiral of violence and a humanitarian crisis. On the opening day of the 21st Session of the Human Rights Council, we are pleased to announce a special forum where Syrian human rights defenders, journalists and bloggers will deliver direct testimonies and reflect the perspectives of the victims.
